Liam Gallagher's nieuwe studioalbum 'C'MON YOU KNOW' ziet het levenslicht. De plaat volgt Gallagher’s vorige twee soloalbums 'As You Were' uit 2017 en 'Why Me? Why Not.' uit 2019 én valt samen met de release van zijn live-album 'Down By The River Thames'. 'C'MON YOU KNOW' haalt inspiratie van The Beatles en The Stones, maar bevat ook verwijzingen naar alles van T-Rex en Hendrix tot The Polyphonic Spree en de Beastie Boys. Onder andere Dave Grohl, Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig en Nick Zinner van Yeah Yeah Yeahs werkten mee aan de plaat. Liam vat het zo samen in The Sunday Times: “It’s a bit peculiar in places, which is good: 80 percent madness and 20 percent classic. If you’re going to start doing stuff like that on your third album, it helps if there’s a bit of Covid about. Because if it doesn’t take off, and people go, ‘I’m not sure about this, it’s a bit weird,’ we can blame it on the virus and go back to the classic stuff.” Liam staat op 14 augustus op HEAR HEAR! in Hasselt.
