Award-winning musician and composer Ibrahim Maalouf will unveil his 12th studio album on November 6. The album is titled '40 MELODIES 'and is a celebration of his fortieth birthday. The album stands out completely from the artist's previous projects since for the first time in 15 years of discography, Ibrahim offers an intimate duet with his friend and collaborator of more than 10 years, the Belgian guitarist François Delporte.

The duo revisits Ibrahim's well known and loved melodies from both his albums and his soundtracks, and even offer a few new tracks. And to top it all a series of prestigious guests appear on the album: Sting, Matthieu Chedid, Marcus Miller, Alfredo Rodriguez, Richard Bona, Trilok Gurtu, Hüsnü Senlendrici, Jon Batiste, Arturo Sandoval, and many more.

The first single is none other than the flagship piece of the Franco-Lebanese trumpet player: Beirut in a revisited and minimalist version played by Ibrahim Maalouf accompanied by François Delporte. A song to discover or to rediscover in a refined trumpet and guitar formula. This first single and its official music video is released today.
