The number of days left until the 26th Dour Festival are now down to the double digits, while the number of artists appearing is well into the triple digits - and once again, these artists show the diversity of our programming. The summer looks like it will be hot and lively, and this edition of the festival looks like it will be one of the best - the kind of madness only Dour can create.

Hip-hop has been one of the liveliest genres of them all on the Plaine de la Machine à Feu in recent years. We take great pleasure in giving it pride of place, making sure its most timeless exponents represent it in its finest colours. In this vein, the young, talented American Mac Miller will be joining the very strong line-up already announced for the Last Arena. He will join Raekwon (of Wu-Tang Clan) and Nas (performing his legendary album Illmatic). A further addition is Freddie Gibbs, who unfortunately had to cancel his concert last year, but will now join the line-up of the Jupiler Boombox.

Another big name joining the list is the Swedish group The Hives, making sure they get the Last Arena jumping to some good old-fashioned rock'n'roll. Elsewhere, we have a new reggae name in Clinton Fearon & Boogie Brown Band, and a new dub name in Congo Natty feat. Congo Dubz & Tenor Fly, which completes the Friday dub line-up.

Cyber Punk, Industrial Metal, Batcave - there are lots of terms to describe Punish Yourself, but perhaps the best two would be atypical and violent... They join the line-up on the Cannibal Stage, alongside Aborted, Stick To Your Guns, Tagada Jones and Resistance. For guitar fans, Deap Vally, Apaches, Romano Nervoso and Psycho 44 will be on hand to sate your appetite.

Want to dance? Tale of Us and Addison Groove are cooking up a storm for your pleasure, while Boddika has made it a point of principle to get you moving. Meanwhile, Mr. Carmack is preparing a extraordinary journey, joining Ta-Ku for an upbeat chill/hip-hop set, Trippy Turtle will be playing to the subverted, while the drum'n'bass line-up has added Majistrate, Audio feat. MC GQ and The Offenders.

As for new Belgian acts, we are pleased to present Rocket Ship and Dalton TélégrammeAnd, saving the best for last, we still have heap of names left to announce. There will surprises for fans of every genre, but all we really need to say is trust us - it's worth getting your ticket now while they are still available.
