Last month, GOOSE played an extraordinary show at Lotto Arena (**** reviews), followed by a tour in Switzerland and Germany. Next stop: The Netherlands.
Another thing that happened last month was the unique remix contest GOOSE organized with radio station Studio Brussel. GOOSE set up a competition for the best remix of ‘What You Need’, the most recent single from their latest album ‘What You Need’. The winner was awarded a spot on the track list of the official digital GOOSE remix EP, ‘What You Need’.
Today, Nov 18th, sees the worldwide release of this GOOSE EP ‘What You Need (Remixes)’. The EP is released in Belgium alongside with Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Luxemburg, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and UK on all digital platforms.
The contest winner B-Sights and follow-up winner DOGANOV are featured along big names such as Digitalism and Mumbai Science.

GOOSE ON THEIR ORIGINAL TRACK
It is no secret that we are big fans of French Touch artists like Etienne de Crécy, Daft Punk, Alex Gopher, Cassius. They all have one thing in common: they excel in sampling. And we are not. So that called for experiment! At a certain point in writing an album, you want to try something you haven't tried on any other featured song. Out of that thought we came up with a vocal melody that could easily have been sampled out of a 70's disco song. There is a certain melancholy in the song that we love. Maybe it's because we wrote it during the Indian summer. That time of the year always puts us in this kind of mood. Or we are craving for an answer that we will possibly never get ( Am I giving what you need, what are you asking from me?) ?
