Multi-genre metal heretics ZEMIAL, from Greece, enter 2019 with a new record deal in place. The Athens-based band, who've been around since 1989 and who now celebrate a milestone 30-year anniversary, landed a contract with Agonia Records. Work on the band's fourth studio album, follow-up to their seminal "Nykta", has already commenced

ZEMIAL are the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Vorskaath and are among the early creators of extreme metal from Greece. ZEMIAL’s ever-changing style is an amalgam of sounds from avant-garde heavy and black-thrash metal, to soundscapes and progressive rock, offering a truly singular aural experience.

In 2019 ZEMIAL celebrate 30 years of unique art, during which, Vorskaath created three milestone studio albums and six EPs, all of which have created a significant underground following and demonstrate a musical entity that endlessly evolves. To celebrate, selected concerts appearances featuring Proscriptor of Absu as lead vocalist will present the music of ZEMIAL to audiences in Europe and the USA.

All cosmic signs indicate that ZEMIAL’s next instalment to this list of works is now on the horizon, with two additional albums also largely completed.

The band commented on the signing: "We welcome the new year by announcing a distinguished new collaboration: the signing of a worldwide agreement with Agonia Records. Agonia Records has given every indication of being the right partner to support Zemial's constant transformation as we remain onto the meandering path upon which the Muse treads".
