THE EFFIGY comments: "'Infiltrate' is a song about being deceived and lied to, and trying to break free, but finding yourself inexplicably tethered to the abuse. Originally, 'Infiltrate' was one of my calmer, more introspective tracks, but when Tim came on board, we decided to twist the song to better represent the emotion behind the lyrics. Tim added a much needed aggression to the track with the addition of a breakdown and encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone and try harsh vocals for the first time."
