Following the unanimous success of its first album "The Wanderings Of The Avener" released in January 2015 and sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide, The Avener had to come back with something new, without disorienting its fans acquired on the first opus. A challenge he brilliantly took up with this second album, entitled "Heaven".

We thus find in "Heaven" this rhythmic signature dear to The Avener which gives pride of place to kick and these electronic sounds added to acoustic bases. But this time, it is mainly to original compositions that the DJ from Nice applies his production method. To do this, he chose to collaborate with different top-liners and popular interpreters such as the Danish M.I.L.K. on the titles "Under The Waterfall" second single released with a monumental clip) and "Mute Your Mind", Ayo on "Worried About You" or Josef Salvat on "Time".

The Avener also gives voice to talents still little known to the general public, discovered here and there during meetings. This is the case of the very fresh Ida Isax on the title "Dancing", but also of Bipolar Sunshine (on "Beautiful" first single unveiled and directly at the top of the charts), Spelles, Sedric Perry, Manu Lanvin or Arrow Benjamin on the sublime "Dreams On The Run" which concludes the tracklisting of 16 tracks.

Some reworks nevertheless come to enrich the album, like a nod to his first album : "900 Miles" with Terry Callier, "Wild" with Tiwayo, or even "Masters of War" that Bob Dylan himself asked him to update. Without forgetting "A Better Man" with Phoebe Killdeer, author and performer of her very first single, now known worldwide. "Fade Out Lines" (# 1 in more than 20 countries). A collaboration that will rally fans from the start.

After a long wait, “Heaven”, a coherent and homogeneous second album will be released on January 24th. With its melancholic and penetrating atmosphere punctuated by a modern and welcoming rhythm, it retains the character traits that contributed to the success of "The Wanderings" and affirms its personality through the freshness of its compositions and collaborations. An undeniable added value that its public should savor.
