Modern Alt rock duo PEAKS! hailing from Turin in Northern Italy, emerged towards the end of 2020 with their jaw dropping debut song‚ ’Blackout‘. Fast forward to today – and their debut release has notched up nearly 2 million Spotify streams. The new single ‘HEATWAVES’, is a slice of raging rave rock in which PEAKS! spit about the clear and present danger we face in a climate emergency.

With Southern Europe, Northern Africa, and parts of the USA in the grip of wildfires, and global temperature records being smashed day on day, the timing of the release is pertinent. Living in Italy, PEAKS! know only too well what a climate emergency feels like.
ACTION NOW ON CLIMATE - ‘HEATWAVES’
The 3D Visuals, featuring the band playing in a burning forest, were solely produced and edited by the band. Lorenzo, who is also a visual content specialist, is keen to explore and utilize the new powers of technology to enhance and highlight the global issues of climate change through this visually impactful and powerful medium.
The band are working with Music Declares Emergency to use their platform to raise awareness.

Their debut live shows were in early Summer 2022 at The Great Escape in Brighton which saw rapturous praise and were asked to play again this year. Festival performances at 2000 Tress and BST w/ Pearl Jam followed and then their first Italian show in front of 10,000 people in Mantova Italy, supporting Placebo. They ended the year playing with Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes.
2023 has seen support tours with Dead Poets Society and shows this Summer with Placebo at Lucca Festival (It.), Imola (It.) , and Moon & Stars (Switz.)
On the previous singles they have received widespread support from streaming platforms including New Music Friday Spotify right across Europe, and key playlists including All New Rock, The New Alt, Pop Rock Shot, Alternative Beats, Rock Italia and New Noise. They also clocked support on Amazon Music from their Fresh Rock and New Rock playlists.
Across the airwaves, Jack Saunders has supported as part of his BBC Radio 1 ‘Future Artists’ section. Outside the UK, they have got airplay in Italy, USA, Germany, France, Benelux, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe including main supporters such as extraRadio in their home country of Italy, WONC Pure Rock in the Chicago area of the US, MiNT in Belgium and CT Das Radio in Germany.
TV has also begun to wake up on the synch friendly qualities of PEAKS!‘. They have featured in the opening episode of last season‘s Love Island, BBC Match of the Day in the UK, and Sky Sports Formula 1 will use ‘When The Lights Fade Out’ in the Singapore grand prix coverage in September.
