Conceptually idiotic, musically gifted, legends of partying, and the band with the best logo in death metal: Party Cannon are back, announcing their new album Volumes Of Vomit, set for release 14th January via Gore House Productions. If January seems too far then fear not: the party has already started. You can stream the first single from the album, 'Nauseating And Unpalatable', now.

Featuring Exhumed vocalist Ross Sewage, 'Nauseating And Unpalatable' is an apt glimpse into the world of the over-the-top Scots. Offering up nine chunks of IQ-lowering, slamming sickness, mass-gaining gym riffs, irresponsibly fast blastbeats, and the swampiest gutturals known to mankind, Volumes Of Vomit is not your normal death metal album. This is fully fledged party slam at its most unhinged.

“This album is nonsense” states bassist Clankenstein, “I didn’t think music could be bad for your health but this is a legitimate danger to your safety."

“Many things tried to stop the Party - travel restrictions, illnesses, the roof of our practice space caving in - but we persevered, because you cannot stop the Party. The Party is unstoppable. A concerted effort was put into making the songs as unpredictable and over-the-top as possible while retaining the memorable and catchy moments we’re known for - listeners will be able to hear our love for bands like Devourment, Gorgasm, Dying Fetus, Exhumed and Disgorge. This is definitely our most IQ-pummelling and raging release yet - more slams, more blasts, more gutturals, less mercy."

Produced by Jörg Uken (Defeated Sanity, Sinister, Anvil, Despondency) at Soundlodge Studios, Volumes Of Vomit delivers the most brutal sound of the band’s career. Raw, live and crushing, you’ll feel like you’re actually in the room with these terrible people - who brought in their well-known guttural friends Ross Sewage (Exhumed), Don Campan (Waking The Cadaver) and Andrew Lomastro (Cerebral Incubation) to assist in the madness.

The album cover and sleeve collages were handled by Jan Grotle of FLUIDS and Cochino Art:

“Keeping with our tradition of intellectual avant-garde art work, the album cover and sleeve is made up of over 200 pictures of our fans throwing up/partying. We wanted to include our fans in album as a thank you for the overwhelming support we received during the pandemic," says Clankenstein.

Hailing from Dunfermline, Scotland and signed to Gore House Productions, Party Cannon have subjected a large portion of the planet to their partying having frequently toured the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. Making waves since their inception in 2010, their debut EP Partied In Half is now considered an iconic release within the slam death metal scene.

Famously, Party Cannon's multicolour party balloon not only stands out against frosty-branched-logo-bands wherever it appears on gig posters, but regularly pops up* globally. Make no mistake, Party Cannon know how to stand out.
