Moonlow, the “apocalyptic noise poetry” project from Duncan Evans (Ex-A Forest of Stars, and now using the pseudonym “Dust”) has just released his song "Day 1 (You Have No Enemy) via Alternative Control. The song is from his upcoming album Who Are You? Which will be released on CD and tape via Trepanation Recordings in October.

Dust commented “Day 1 (You Have No Enemy)” is the beginning of an existential and often nightmarish journey into the depths of the self via the medium of “apocalyptic noise poetry”. The lyrics were written during a time of confusion and fear, and they set the scene for the journey of the album. I fired up a synth and conjured some bleak soundscapes. In the end end I kept the demo vocals (recorded on the in-built computer mic) as I liked the feel and the scratchy lo-fi sound. I added another voice later on to represent a dialogue between different contradictory aspects of the self. I hope people can connect with the music and maybe even reach a kind of meditative state while listening. Dust."
