Multi-platinum global superstar Mariah Carey is revealing more details of ME. I am Mariah... the Elusive Chanteuse, her new exclusive body of work arriving May 26th on Def Jam Recordings, featuring the brand new focus track from the album, “Thirsty.”  The track follows up “You’re Mine (Eternal),” crowned Mariah’s 17th career #1 hit on Billboard’s Dance Club Play chart earlier this month.  Her RIAA platinum-plus hit lead single “#Beautiful” featuring Miguel was a global chart-topping smash, with more than 50 million YouTube views.

As executive producer of ME. I am Mariah... the Elusive Chanteuse, nearly every song on the album (with the exception of an emotionally-charged rendition of George Michael’s #1 classic “One More Try,”) was written and produced by Mariah.  Two different exclusive album configurations with distinctive artwork are available for pre-order now, the Standard Edition (15 tracks) at http://smarturl.it/Mariah; and the Deluxe Edition (18 tracks) at http://smarturl.it/MariahDlx.

Blige on “It’s A Wrap” and R. Kelly on “Betcha Gon’ Know.”  The latter two, both bonus tracks on the Deluxe Edition, were produced by Mariah with Tricky Stewart and Big Jim Wright (joined by The-Dream on “Betcha Gon’ Know”).

“You’re Mine (Eternal)” was written and produced by Mariah and Rodney Jerkins, who also wrote and produced “The Art Of Letting Go,” the third bonus track on the Deluxe Edition. Special guests include Fabolous on “Money ($ * / …)” and Nas on “Dedicated,” both tracks produced by Mariah with Hit-Boy for Hits Since 87, the same team responsible for “Thirsty.”  “Meteorite” was written and produced by Mariah and Q-Tip.  “Faded” was written and produced by Mariah and Mike WiLL Made-It.

Mariah is also joined by special guest Wale, featured on “You Don’t Know What To Do.”  The track is one of four on the new album produced by Mariah with Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, who also worked together on “Make It Look Good,” “One More Try,” and “Supernatural” with special guest stars “DemBabies” a.k.a. Ms. Monroe and Moroccan Scott Cannon a.k.a Roc N’ Roe.

Mariah announced her new album with a personal video message to her fans, describing the album, and the cover artwork that includes her first and only self-portrait, which she drew at three and a half years old.  Go to: http://youtu.be/5mSezvKLxVM.  Mariah describes the drawing as “a creative visualization of how I saw myself with the purity of a child’s heart, before it was ever broken.”
