‘Children Of Nature’ is the title track of a recently released album of ‘beautiful, elegiac and compelling’ (Louder Than War) electronic pop by the successful Lithuanian singer Alanas Chosnau and the well-known musician/producer Mark Reeder. The duo initially bonded at a film festival (where Reeder was screening a film about his life in Berlin in the 1980’s), before eventually conceiving the idea of an album of retro love songs that would still sound fresh for listeners now.

‘Children Of Nature’ has been edited for release as a single and is also part of a remix EP entitled 'Natural Selection’ that adds two extended versions. It warns of potential near-future threats, including ruthless totalitarian regimes, police brutality and climate change, if we do not act now. Its cover image (a close-up of the album artwork) shows the accusational look of a child, positing the question: is this what we want for the next generation?

  • “The pristine melancholy of the album is loaded with an emotional burden. Cold War electronic fado” - ELECTRONIC SOUND
  • “Imperious, perfect pop electronica. Mixes beautifully the cold hard beats of the dancefloor but also the heart and soul of the form” - LOUDER THAN WAR
  • “Quality songs with superlative vocals and sympathetic instrumentation” - THE ELECTRICITY CLUB
