VRWRK – live electronica outfit born in Brussels, based in London – has revealed the official music video for ‘You Feel Me (Utterly Amazing)’, the most recent single from their critically acclaimed debut album On The Outside.
About the video:
The new video contains footage from the band on stage on Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Ancienne Belgique last summer, but also features intense behind-the-scenes shots of the band just before and after their gigs. We are shown a couple of striking and intimate images about a band of brothers, a unified bond of musicians performing in front of a crowd. “This video is an ode to all our fans and all the people that have supported us over the years and came to see us live”, says VRWRK. The images were shot by Benoit Do Quang (of the band Ulysse and frequent collaborator of Roméo Elvis) and edited by Thieu Seynaeve (director of many VRWRK video clips and Oscar & The Wolf’s “The Game”).

Producers collective VRWRK (fka VUURWERK), part of the Run Tell Secrecy collective (www.runtellsecrecy.org), draws its creative energy from emotional suggestion and tactile sensation. Rather than adhering to genre-specific musical characteristics associated with dance music, VRWRK challenges listeners by combining ambient and industrial with techno, dubstep, breakbeats. Always on the edge of the underground & the overground pop. VRWRK aims to drench the club experience in a comfortable melancholic haze, creating a dissonance between dance music & intimacy. It’s the kind of out-of-body experience you feel quite comfortable in.
VRWRK have been doing interesting things for some time now, albeit below the radar. They have made remixes for Arsenal, Balthazar and Bon Iver and work closely together with Max Colombie (as Climb X).
