Japanese popstar Gen Hoshino has released the video for his single ‘Ain’t Nobody Know’, taken from his new EP Same Thing. The R&B-laced track has been co-produced with Tom Misch. This video is Hoshino’s third released from the Same Thing EP and follows the lead single and title track featuring Superorganism, and ‘Sarashi-mono (feat. PUNPEE)’. They have collectively clocked up almost 4 million views.
The ‘Ain’t Nobody Know’ video features Japanese actor Yutaka Matsushige, expressing Hoshino’s friendship with his collaborators in a throwback, retro Japan-designed room. Upon release the Same Thing EP went straight in at No.1 on the Billboard Japan Chart for album downloads, and ORICON digital album chart.
Gen Hoshino is celebrating the release with a live performance at New York's Sony Hall on November 25th along with a guest appearance from award-winning, global superstar Mark Ronson. Mark Ronson will not only guest at the New York show, he and Gen Hoshino will also co-headline the Yokohama arena in December.
