Témé Tan, the musical alias of multi-instrumentalist and producer Tanguy Haesevoets, has announced details of the release of a trio of mixes of Ça Va Pas La Tête? The release includes mixes from Noza, Marc Melià and Batuk plus a previously unreleased track, Bara.

Ça Va Pas La Tête is taken from his self-titled debut album which was released in October of this year on [PIAS]

Talking about the remixes and Bara, Témé Tan said:

Noza is my best friend and we have been collaborating for many years. He is deeply linked to my project as we produced my tracks "Améthys", "Sè Zwa Zo", "Coups de Griffe" and "Ouvrir La Cage" together.

I first heard Marc Melià on stage in an intimate venue and I was mesmerized by both his sound and technique. His first album "Music For Prophet" is out now on Flavien Berger's and Gaspar Claus' label and i have it on repeat in my stereo.

I love how he gave a more sombre feel to my song.

Batuk, the pan-african creative collective around Spoek Mathambo, always give me a big push on the dance floor when their song "Daniel" comes on. A very inspiring group both musically and visually. I had the chance to see them on stage in festival were I was playing this summer.

"Bara" was recorded during my stay in Conakry. I had the privilege to collaborate with Manamba Kanté (Mory Kanté's daughter), Cathy La Star, Yéli Guiné, Mohamed Bassiste Camara. We sang in many different languages about how Guinean youth struggles to find job opportunities. The chorus is an anthem to their strong desire to make a change in their country.

The remix package marks the end of a hectic and hugely successful 12 months for Témé Tan; this summer saw him play a number of shows and festivals across the globe, including much talked about performances at the Eurosonic and Great Escape festivals and support slots with the likes of Milky Chance, Songhoy Blues, Ibeyi & Francois And The Atlas Mountains or M- LAMOMALI. Ça Va Pas La Tête was featured on the soundtrack to FIFA 18, Témé Tan was named album of the week by the great Gilles Petersonand he made a number of national TV appearances in both France, Belgium and Holland.
