Detroit house producer delivers track featuring vocals of Carla Monroe

Marking 17 years since his infamous ‘Burning’ came out in the clubs, ‘17’ closes out an incredible summer for MK, who has performed various dates in the States and launched an Area10 festival in Ireland, with 4000 tickets selling out in a record breaking 5 minutes. With headline stages at Creamfields and SW4, as well as Croatia’s Defected Festival, 2017 has been one of his busiest years so far. MK has also played a vast number of dates in Ibiza this summer, at venues including Amnesia and Pacha.

‘17’ features Kinchen’s trademark piano chords, as Carla Monroe’s rich delivery tops the upbeat production with an uplifting melody. MK’s use of a constant and powerful bassline gives the track an old skool house tone. The resulting anthem has been going off across various festivals this summer, receiving frequent spins at Creamfields, as well as at various Ibiza clubs and beach bars, including the iconic Cafe Mambo.

Through his infectious remixes for the likes of Rihanna, London Grammar, Clean Bandit, Solardo, MK has become one of the world’s most in-demand names in dance music. Several of his earlier releases, including ‘Always’ and ‘Burning’, were instrumental in first helping dance music cross over into the mainstream, whilst his remix of Storm Queen's ‘Look Right Through’ hit the Number 1 spot in the UK back in 2013.

Prior to recent release ‘My Love 4 U’ (feat A*M*E), MK’s 2016 Gold selling hit ‘Piece of Me’ (feat. Becky Hill) became a summer staple, garnering over 38 million Spotify plays in the process, proving that MK remains at the top of his game as a DJ, producer and curator, with ‘17’set to dominate radio play and club dancefloors well into the new year.
