For the 5th anniversary of Electric Love Festival, 180.000 visitors from all over the globe were united at the racetrack Salzburgring in Salzburg (Austria) from the 6th till 8th of July. Nestled in the Salzkammergut Lake District, surrounded by a beautiful landscape and nature, the Salzburg Ring is the perfect location for Electric Love Festival (ELF). Over 120 national and international artists performed on one of the five stages present at the festival grounds.

Let’s start with one of the most exciting moments, the opening of ELF 2017. Resident Felice compilated the best sounds from the last five years, together with eye catching fireworks and special acrobats, flying drummers. The official ELF 2017 anthem cannot be forgotten “Believe In Me”. The atmosphere within the crowd was wordless and the kick-off for an amazing weekend was given.

This year the wide and colorful mainstage was filled with an incredible bunch of headliners. Showtek, Marshmello, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Alan Walker, Headhunterz (and the special performance of Project One), Zedd, Krewella, KSHMR and last but not least, Armin Van Buuren. The list is endless and the memories go even further.

Club Circus was the homebase of the Warm Up party on Wednesday. On Thursday b2s hosted the Pussy lounge at the Club Circus and brought the full package to Austria. All residents took place behind the turntable, together with massive balloons, confetti blasts, party inflatables and of course the sexy dancers. London and Berlin took over on Friday and Saturday.

The Almhütte was a full size alpine hut where you could enjoy a cool beer and go totally crazy on the après ski sounds. Something fresh and traditional that has been added to the festival. The Heineken Starclub is well known and you could enjoy yourself over there for a few Power Hours by Dj Selecta, as well as a total Heineken takeover featuring Mc Apster.

For the hardstyle lovers among us, the angry bird stage was welcoming you to the holy grounds of Q-Dance. Two days of the best and hardest music of the EDM scene was served by Brennan Heart, Coone, Da Tweekaz, Frequencerz, Code Black Cyber and Miss K8.

The festival had a cashless payment setup by means of a super fancy Electric Love RFID wristband. Waiting times at the point of sale were reduced and invoices are on-line available. Payment was never that easy!

But all good things come to an end and so the endshow did what it had to do. A breathtaking show with a lot of special effects to make this an unforgettable experience you’ll never forget.

For most of us the countdown has already begun, as the next edition will take place on 5, 6 and 7 of July 2018. We hope to see you all there next year! (TVT)
