A great name has been added to the line-up! The Chainsmokers will play the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium on Thursday 29 June. The Chainsmokers have evolved into a dominating musical force with a diverse repertoire of songs that have led them to become today's hottest young artist/producer duo. With a signature sound that deftly reaches across indie, progressive and pop realms, their original tracks and remixes have topped the charts throughout the world. Their evolution as producers and as songwriters has seen them dial up some of the biggest breakthrough songs of today. In 2016, The Chainsmokers were nominated for three Grammy® Awards, four American Music Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards. They have performed all over the world to sold-out crowds at their own headline shows and major festivals and also at the 2016 American Music Awards and the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
The list of confirmations for Rock Werchter 2017 is growing steadily. Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, The Chainsmokers, Imagine Dragons, Lorde and Agnes Obel giving it their all on Thursday 29 June at the Festivalpark. Radiohead, James Blake, Oscar And The Wolf, Royal Blood, Bazart, White Lies and Future Islands on Friday 30 June. For Saturday 1 July Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Blink-182 and Bonobo are confirmed. Foo Fighters, alt-J, Dropkick Murphys, The Lumineers for Sunday 2 July. More names to follow soon.
Rock Werchter 2017 takes place at the Festivalpark in Werchter, from Thursday 29 June to Sunday 2 July. The one day tickets for Saturday 1 July are now sold out. A waiting list has been opened.
