Een deluxe geremasterde versie van Purple Rain, twee albums met niet eerder uitgebrachte muziek van Prince en twee live DVD’s komen uit op 9 juni
De volledige catalogus is te streamen sinds het begin van de Grammy Awards gisteren. Cameron Strang, de voorzitter en CEO van Warner Bros. Records:

“We’re also pleased to announce our plan to release the remaster of Prince's most iconic album, Purple Rain, along with two incredible albums of previously unreleased Prince music and two complete concert films from the Paisley Park vault on June 9.

Prince, die veertig jaar geleden tekende bij Warner Bros., nam zijn meest invloedrijke en populaire albums op onder het label, waaronder: ‘Prince, Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999, Purple Rain, Around the World in a Day, Parade, Sign O’ The Times, Batman en Diamonds and Pearls’, maar ook zijn grootste hits vallen onder het label: “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Kiss,” “Little Red Corvette,” “Raspberry Beret,” “When Doves Cry,” “Sign O’ The Times,” “Alphabet Street,” “Batdance,” “Cream,” “I Would Die 4 U,” “Diamonds and Pearls,” “Pop Life,” “Delirious,” “1999,” “Purple Rain” etc.
In November brachten NPG en Warner Bros. Records PRINCE 4Ever uit, waarop zijn veertig meest geliefde nummers werden gebundeld. Op het album verscheen ook het nooit eerder uitgebracht nummer "Moonbeam Levels”.
