My Precious Bunny, het solo-project van Lilly Wolters (Penelope Isles), heeft haar debuutalbum A Moment In My Eyes aangekondigd. Tegelijk met deze aankondiging verscheen de track I Go Up, You Go Down. Wolters solowerk voelt aan als een nostalgische herinnering; levendig en filmisch, maar tegelijk ook intiem.
De single I Go Up, You Go Down is geschreven tijdens de coronapandemie, waar ze door een relatiebreuk ging en weer terug bij haar ouders in moest trekken. Hier vertelt Wolters over:
“‘I Go Up, You Go Down’ was an observation of everything that was happening: Going through a long-term breakup and moving in with my folks, watching the world collapse on the news. Amongst the chaos, I was entirely consumed by how terrible it is that you can share a bed with someone for years, being entirely each other's world, then one day… you avoid one another in the street.”
