The first name is in! Rammstein will play Rock Werchter on Friday 1 July 2016. Werchter's favourite Germans -this is their 5th appearance- are bringing their hotter-than-everything-else live experience to the festival. Ten days ago, Dave Grohl broke his leg during a show in Sweden, resulting in Foo Fighters cancelling this year’s set at Rock Werchter 2015. It was an eventful week at the Rock Werchter office. The jigsaw is complete. The Rock Werchter 2015 line-up is final (again) and there are exactly 80 names. Sam Smith's cancellation for health reasons left an empty spot on Saturday 27 June. Rock Werchter is happy to present four more beautiful new names today. The bill for Saturday 27 June is joined by CC Smugglers, who are bringing their up-beat country blues to the festival. Also on Sunday 28 June we notice three newcomers, with Blaudzun, up-and-coming soul prodigy Leon Bridges and British revelation Catfish and The Bottlemen. This adds up to 79 confirmed names, thereby completing the Rock Werchter 2015 programme....
