Following the release of his recent album GENE, LA Priest has enlisted the legendary Belgian duo, Soulwax to deliver the remix treatment for “What Moves”. With the original racking up over a million streams globally, plus reaching playlist status at both BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6Music, Soulwax have injected their trademark up-beat synth-work to “What Moves”, solidifying the track’s deep earworm status.

With the new album GENE out this Friday, LA Priest has just shared the video for new track “Rubber Sky”. The new track is a slice of cosmic-laden funk from LA Priest which reflects on his solitary approach to creating music, acting somewhat aptly as a “loner anthem”. “Rubber Sky” also sees GENE (the custom built drum machine) coming to life, being used to its full potential.

With just over a month until the release of new album GENE, Sam Eastgate AKA LA Priest has shared new single, “Beginning”. Marking a dazzling opening to GENE, “Beginning” hits with an inescapable melody and the first introduction to GENE, the custom built drum machine on which the album was made.
