Today offers a passing view into the next epoch with new single “Jackie”, (co-written/produced by Chris Greatti - Yungblud, Poppy). “Jackie” arrives fierce, with powerful and dueling emotive guitars evoking the volatile magnetism between lovers that builds into a supernormal transference. Adapting groundbreaking radical transformational visual dialogue to create a purely analogue moment of connection, "Jackie" spins a prismatic fever dream, in a DeepFake world.
The accompanying visual was directed and produced by Actual Objects. Actual Objects is a creative studio based in Los Angeles that specializes in worldbuilding, constructing fully realized and lived-in worlds. The team, led by co-founders Rick Farin, Claire Cochran and Nick Vernet, works across many different disciplines, including direction, filmmaking, animation, installation, and graphic design, with clients that include Travis Scott, Eartheater, Yves Tumor, Museum of Modern Art NYC, Kanye West, Hood By Air, Salem, Marine Serre, Nike, Givenchy, and more.
Today also marks the announcement of Yves Tumor’s return to the live space with 28 dates booked across the United States, UK and Europe in 2021 and 2022. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 18th, 10am local time.
