On the 4th of September 2004 the beautiful Ghent Opera House witnessed a performance that was supposed to be a one-off encounter. Rendez-Fou’s promoter Tijs Vandenbroucke had the idea to combine the vocal talents of Lady Linn (lead singer of Ghent band Bolchi at that time, with a certain Jeroen ‘The Subs’ de Pessemier as band producer) with the mixing skills of Red D, a then pretty much unknown DJ in discerning Ghent circles…

The result – as they say – is history. Lady Linn and Red D had a bit of a blast. Linn loved the ‘real’ house music Red D was playing and selecting, and Red D loved the live vocal aspect Linn was bringing to his set. So they looked for more tracks to do and did their act again and again and again…

By now in 2014 they have played on almost all major (dance) festivals and clubs in Belgium, enthusing both house purists as well as younglings who have no idea what tracks these two are bringing. Naturally the live aspect also continued in the studio. Most notably under the guise of FCL, the project Red D has been doing for some 5 years now together with that Belgian house music prodigy San Soda. ‘More Than Seven’, ‘Used To be’, ‘Can We Try’ and of course the inevitable ‘It’s You’ have proven that the combination of house music and Lady Linn is a certified winner.

All this called for some serious anniversary celebrations. And so Red D & Lady Linn will be playing 10 gigs between November 2014 and February 2015 to celebrate their continued collaboration. These gigs will happen at various spots big and small through promoters that have a special place in the hearts of Lady Linn and Red D. From the intimate surroundings of Clues bar in Deinze to the legendary Fuse club in Brussels, passing by at a Decadance Thursday and smashing things up retro style at Age Of Love in Ghent’s Vooruit.

For the latter Lady Linn and Red D even created their very first solo studio work called Age Of Love Theme’, in which they celebrate their love of Belgian 90ies trance & retro.

10 years Red D featuring Lady Linn…10 times!
