Unendlich, the blackened death metal solo project of Maryland-based Mike Connors, has just released a ferocious new single, “Into Abandonment”. The track, which has just premiered at Metal Injection, sets punishingly heavy riffs against lush and melodic guitar lines and Connors’ dread-infused screams. “Into Abandonment” is taken from Unendlich’s upcoming fourth album, Paradox of a Broken World, which will be released on July 9.
According to Connors: “‘Into Abandonment' encapsulates a devolution from logical reasoning to violent reaction. It is the entropic release of emotion when one can no longer be apathetic to the noise and routine of the world.”
