Today Under The Reefs Orchestra releases a new single taken from their debut album out on June 5th. The track is called Hana. It’s a beautiful and fragile meditation, an instrumental five steps waltz, a lunar getaway above a world gone wrong.

Hana is a lullaby for an unborn baby girl…
Hana is a tribute to the grace of giraffes
Hana is a Japanese sculptor living south of Kyushu, shaping her plasters according to the thousand faces she meets ...

Between the expressive force of François de Roubaix or Ennio Morricone, the languor of Devendra Banhart and the simple elegance of Ry Cooder, Under the Reefs Orchestra tears the sky apart for a moment and delivers us this piece of pure light and lightness.

The accompanying video is by Isabelle Solas and takes us on the japanese mountainsides like in an otherworldly dream amongst the sumo wrestlers and the volcanoes smoke.
