Austrian hardcore heavy hitters, TRIPSITTER, recently announced a European tour for September, supporting Acres. The four-piece released their debut album The Other Side Of Sadness via Prosthetic Records this April.
The band commented: "We are very excited to be going on tour with Acres; they are a band we listened to a lot when we first started to make music and is an honour to share the stage with them. We can’t wait!"
The Other Side Of Sadness picked up glowing reviews from fans and media alike, with Kerrang! describing it as "a dark, shoegaze-drenched trip through the shadowy end of music". Meanwhile, Metal Hammer declared it "one of the most impressive opening statements" they'd heard in ages and Revolver magazine called it an "interesting, infectious, and undeniably unique listening experience".
To mark the release of their debut album, the band released The Other Side Of Sadness - A Short Film which contains both artistic, cinematic elements as well as footage of the band shot live in a cabin in their native Austria.
