Following the surprise release of her recent single, “Send Me”, Tirzah has shared “Sink In”, her second track of 2021. Largely instrumental, with her trademark, often ambiguous approach to lyrics, Tirzah leaves the subject matter of “Sink In” open to interpretation for the listener. With a melody written alongside her long-term collaborators, Coby Sey and Mica Levi, the track is universal, forming somewhat of a blank page, ready to be filled in.
“Sink In” and “Send Me” are the first new material from Tirzah under her own name since 2018’s critically acclaimed album, Devotion and was written, recorded and performed alongside her close, long-term collaborators, Mica Levi and Coby Sey.
The artwork and video for “Sink In” were created by, Leah Walker, whilst the choreography and performance is by Lewis Walker and Tylor Deyn.
