Today, the LA-based duo Fiji Blue, comprised of Trevor Dering and Valentin Fritz are revealing the next chapter of their genre-mashing oeuvre by releasing the fuzzily tuneful, forlorn ballad “Goodbye” + music video (Virgin Music). This band to watch for 2022 are already gearing up a second EP, which will be released next year.
Earlier, the pop duo who met at Berklee College of Music released “Flower in the Dark” and its official music video, as well as “It Takes Two”, and “Butterflies” for instance, which all showcase their utterly charming, laid back, eternal summer-like dreamy sounds.
After playing their first ever sold out live show at LA’s Moroccan Lounge earlier this month, they are going on a first North-American tour with Two Feet, which will have them play in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Montreal, New York, Seattle and Austin. At the start of the new year, they’ll celebrate their first ever live show in New York at Mercury Lounge on 1.19.
