Tally Spear has released her brand new single ‘Already Gone’. The song is a dark pop track addressing trepidation on entering new experiences.
The single premiered with Gigwise who said, “Remember Pretty Little Liars? We can imagine this slow-slow-fast electronic ballad tracking one of its dramatic montages. Glamorous and gory 'Already Gone' twangs with nerve-tweaking electric guitars and shakes with bone-vibrating percussion reminiscent of Billie Eilish... Composed with a pace that evokes a beautiful figure cutting their careful way through a night-time graveyard, this is a real gothic beauty.”
Regarding the single Tally says, “This track tackles feelings of detachment and distance. It's kind of the opposite of all the happy 'honeymoon phase' songs out there. I wanted to explore the sometimes negative thought processes surrounding new beginnings, and a desire for independence.”
‘Already Gone’ has been produced by Max Marlow (Kodaline, Declan MeKenna) and is the latest song to be taken from Tally’s new EP due out later this summer. It follows the acclaimed singles ‘Can’t Find What I’m Looking For’ and ‘What Do I Want’, which give a taste of the different sides of Tally’s unique alt pop to be found on the EP.

She’s also made an impressive impact on the live scene previously playing Hyde Park’s British Summer Time, supporting Akala at Vegan Camp Out and headlining a packed Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s.
