Stockholm’s black/death metal outfit SPEGLAS has announced their forthcoming debut album, "Endarkenment, Being & Death", set for release on February 27th, 2026, via Trust No One Recordings. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the first single, "The Spirit Postmortem", giving listeners an early taste of the album’s dark, immersive sound.

Vocalist and guitarist Isak Rosemarin shares: "'The Spirit Postmortem' is not only a track from the album, but also part of the albums overarching concept, influenced by Nietzschean philosophy. The song takes the idea of the death of the collective human spirit, the collapse of meaning and the fading drive to move forward and upward, and mirrors it to the biological stages of the dying human body. Sonically, it has a melancholic and desperate feel to it, while being driving, intense and aggressive".
