Susanna Galimi alias "Sushy" was born of an Italian American father and an Italian mother in Milan. From the tender age of 5 she starts piano lessons at the Conservatory of Music in Milan.
At the age of 6 she made her first television appearance as mini assistant beside the most famous italian showman "Mike Bongiorno" gaving numerous vocal performances during the show. Following her passion for the black music at 17 she joined the Gospel Choir of Milan which lead to a role in the musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” with Carl Anderson and Amy Stuart.
On April 2008 she write and sing "Me and Myself" with Ben Dj ,signed Melodica Records,remixed by the famous DJ Wolfghan Gartner it climbs up the "USA Billboard Dance Chart"and reach the position number 5 and the number 2 in the "World Dance Chart".
Thanks to the New Yorker Label "Nervous Records" Sushy performed at "The Radio Energy Event Anniversary Blast 2008" in S.Francisco with Lady Gaga,Cindy Lauper,Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child). Sushy came out together with Dj DAB with "Grease3, the famous Bee Gees hit remixed in contemporary House taste. She released Bendj's whole album "Smile",very appreciated and played by the most famous Djs all around the world like Pete Tong, Andy Norman,Roger Sanchez,Bob Sinclar and Erick Morillo who included the track "Sorry" in his "Subliminal Session Annual Compilation".
Thanks to the English label House Trained Records Sushy sing and co-write together with the rapper Trigga"Hardcore Uproar (take me back)" the most famous English hardcore song,has been a success all around UK,supported by BBC Radio 1. In 2009 Sushy released her italian album with Universal Music Italy.
In 2011 she signed with Universal Music France AZ and came out with her first two singles"Don't kiss me just eat me" and "water" included in the "Zumba Fitness Dance Party Compilation" a double Platinum success! Sushy also released a raggae version of "water" featuring with KY-Many Marley (Bob Marley's son) and she shot the video at the beautiful Bahamas Islands.
In 2012 She performed at the prestigious event "Universal Music Conference" at the Olympia' Theatre in Paris. She shot “in the water” videoclip Featuring Buffering Inc. in Portorico and she climbs the international Charts with her new single "Jumpin' up" ,included in all the most famous compilation all over the world. The song has been in the top five of the "fitness and workout chart" in Austria, France, Luxemburg, Germany and Switzerland and has been a success in Spain and Italy.
The song reached the position number 1 on I-tunes Dance Chart in Japan.
"My music comes out of my feelings. I write songs to release my bottled up emotions through different kind of music. I use Rock Music when I’m angry and I want to fight, R&B when I’m in love, Dance when I want to have fun, Grunge when I feel depressed ..so it all depends on my mood at the moment".
