Today, the Danish rock 'n' roll band SUPERLOADER releases their new single, My Reckless Heart and tonight, the band celebrates the release supporting the legendary heavy rockers Pretty Maids at Amager Bio in Copenhagen. The single is the band’s third release in 2024, following Yeah Yeah Yeah and And Then Another Ship Goes By earlier this year.

"’My Reckless Heart’ is, simply put, about the foolhardy heart. The heart that drives your life, rather than the other way around. You want so badly to be sensible and think rationally, but every time you try, it’s the heart that takes over, exposing you to the worst imaginable pain: love."

SUPERLOADER is notorious for their energetic and captivating live shows. This past fall of 2024, the band played a string of Danish gigs, including Cannonball Festival at KB Hallen, and as support act for renowned Danish rock veterans Magtens Korridorer, as well as a headliner show in Oslo, Norway. Now, the band announces a series of 2025 shows in Denmark, Norway, and Germany, and additionally, festival appearances and more international concerts will be revealed in the coming months.

SUPERLOADER is rock 'n' roll to the core. The Copenhagen-based quartet debuted in 2016 with the album Travel in Time, but found their final form with the current lineup in 2022. With experience from bands like Volbeat and Black City, the four members have created a band that does exactly what they want: playing pure, unfiltered rock 'n' roll, with energy, melody, and attitude as their standout qualities—what they call "eccentric bruiser rock".
In 2023, SUPERLOADER released EP1 and EP2 along with several singles, which were compiled into the 2024 album Restless Souls. The album reflects a reborn band, stripping down to the essentials and writing themselves into the proud Scandinavian rock tradition exemplified by bands like The Hives, The Hellacopters and Turbonegro. Now, SUPERLOADER continues their inspired streak with a string of singles where My Reckless Heart is the latest.
