Swedish folk metal band Nattsjäl unveil their new single “Starborn”.
Written by vocalist Jonas Almqvist, “Starborn” was born from a powerful personal moment — the birth of his daughter. As he held her for the first time and looked into her eyes, a wave of awe and cosmic connection swept over him. In that quiet, almost spiritual moment, he heard the word Cassiopeia echo in his mind. The song draws on that experience, reflecting on the vastness of existence, the mystery of life, and the notion of starchildren finding their place in this world.
