The band comments: “‘Keepers’ , the first single off of Siren’s Rain’s upcoming first full-length album features mandolin and group vocals. ‘Keepers’ describes the apocalyptic battle for the planet between greedy corporations and environmental protectors. The song was crafted to showcase an identifiable folk metal vibe in both melody and rhythm.”

Founded in 2014 by William Beritich and Irene Hellzinger, Siren’s Rain deliver heavy riffs, haunting vocals and ethereal melodies using a vast array of traditional folk instruments. Drawing musical influences from the likes of Eluveitie, Korpiklaani, and Nightwish. Siren’s Rain combine deeply emotive and powerful sounds with fascinating lyrics. Much of their lyrical writing is inspired by mythology of the Pacific Northwest, occasionally venturing further afield with global legends and ghost stories.

During their career, the folk metallers have headlined events such as The Black Stage at Seattle Hempfest (2018), Olympia Hempfest (2016), and The Washington State Midsummer Renaissance Faire (2017). Gaining further recognition in the realms of folk metal, they opened for Korpikalaani and Arkona in 2018.

Siren’s Rain “have the main thing to do: fresh ideas and a very sharp sense of melody. With time and dedication they will be a reason for conversation” - Metal Hammer Portugal (2020).
