The album includes music written by Potter for her new film and features long-term collaborator and guitarist Fred Frith, violinist Viktoria Mullova, cellist Matthew Barley, percussionist Paul Clarvis and bassist Misha Mullov-Abado. Alongside today's preorder is the lead offering from the soundtrack – listen to "Thinking" now. Making its debut at the Berlin International Film Festival and starring Javier Bardem and Elle Fanning, The Roads Not Taken will make its theatrical debut Friday, March 13 via Bleecker Street.

Of the soundtrack, the film's director and composer SALLY POTTER says, "The music for The Roads Not Taken emerged as an extension of the scriptwriting process. Sitting in the editing room, watching the images shape and re-shape as the story found its final form, I could hear, in my inner ear, the unique sounds of some of my favourite musicians, including my long-term collaborator Fred Frith, whose electric guitars have graced many of my films. I wanted to bring his sound together with the extraordinary acoustic world of Viktoria Mullova's violin, Matthew Barley's cello, Paul Clarvis' percussion, and Misha Mullov-Abado's double bass."

Sally Potter's THE ROADS NOT TAKEN follows a day in the life of Leo (Academy Award® winner Javier Bardem) and his daughter, Molly (Elle Fanning) as she grapples with the challenges of her father's chaotic mind. As they weave their way through New York City, Leo's journey takes on a hallucinatory quality as he floats through alternate lives he could have lived, leading Molly to wrestle with her own path as she considers her future. Also starring Salma Hayek and Laura Linney.
