British producer Jolyon Thomas has been nominated at the Music Producers Guild Awards for Breakthrough Producer Of The Year for his work this year with Royal Blood. His album with Royal Blood, How Did We Get So Dark?, has also been nominated as UK Album Of The Year along with their track ‘Lights Out’, which has been nominated as UK Single Song Release Of The Year.

Most recently Jolyon has been working on U2’s forthcoming album Songs Of Experience, due for release on December 1st through Island Records. The latest taste of the new record ‘Get Out Of Your Own Way’, co-produced by Jolyon, was recently released to a rave response from critics and features a spoken word section from Kendrick Lamar.

Jolyon is also behind ‘Spray Paint Love’ the new single from Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, which has been released to critical acclaim and featured as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on Monday at Radio 1.

The new releases join an impressive discography for Jolyon, who has produced, mixed, engineered, co-written and played with the likes of Slaves, Daughter, M83, Maps, British Sea Power, Bay Rays and many more.

As one of the most exciting young producers today, he has worked on two Mercury Award Nominated albums including Slaves’ Top 10 Are You Satisfied? (which he recorded, produced and mixed) and We Can Create from Maps. He signed his first publishing deal with BMG last year.
