Earlier we announced that Rock Am Ring 2017 would please their audience with headliners System Of A Down, Die Toten Hosen and Rammstein. We assumed that the festival would take place at the Mendig airport. However, this week Rock Am Ring announced that they will move back to their original location in 2017. For RAR 2017, the racing circuit of the Nürburgring is again ‘the place to be’.
In Mendig RAR achieved a record number of visitors, but to continue the festival there, they had to make many investments for the environment, protection of the water…
Meanwhile Rock Am Ring had already sold 40,000 combitickets but these tickets remain valid at the Nürburgring. The special campsites which they offered in Mendig will also be provided at the Nürburgring.
