Recently, we could let you know where the Rock Am Ring festival will take place in 2015. The cooperation with the Nürburgring was over and next year the festival will take place on Mendig Airport, about 30km from the old location.
This week they also announced a few bands that will perform on the 30th anniversary of the Rock Am Ring festival and the 20th anniversary of the twin festival Rock Im Park. No other than Foo Fighters, Die Toten Hosen and Slipknot will be there, from the 5th ‘till the 7th of June 2015, as headliners of the weekend. When you add bands like In Flames, Lamb Of God, Motörhead, Papa Roach, Rise Against ... you’ll know that will be a great start of the festival season!
