After spending the last few months releasing a wave of broad and progressive efforts, including 'Weave My Web', 'Run The Lights', and the recent Ashoka collaboration 'Good Tonight', which were featured on the likes of Atwood, Complex & supported by BBC 6 Music & Introducing, fast-rising R&B artist RAHH has now released her eagerly-awaited debut EP 'I Told You We’d Be Famous', alongside the stunning new single 'OKAY'.

As an artist that never looks to pigeonhole herself within any confined space, her debut collection 'I Told You We’d Be Famous' will continue that broad and adventurous spirit she has pursued to date. Bringing together her passionate and vibrant releases so far this year, her latest endeavour looks to cement her as a fresh and exciting name emerging on the UK's progressive R&B scene.

Speaking about the new EP, she said, "I Told You We'd Be Famous came from a lot of unrest and realisation as a twentysomething rocking up in an adult world that looked a lot different to the one I'd been sold. In a culture of ever growing social networks, mindless distractions and love that doesn't text back, finding ways to numb the feeling of anxiety and heartache sometimes is the thing that brings us together. The EP is the soundtrack to those reckless nights and the longing for connection."

While adding about the focus single 'OKAY', "OKAY is the song on the EP that means the most to me. I wrote it at a time when Brexit was all we had heard for so long that it was becoming white noise, like COVID. Fading into the background like some kind of melancholic soundtrack to our bad life decisions and contradictory behaviours."

*Penultimate track on the EP 'Home' is featured in Sally Rooney's Conversations with Friends series out in the UK now.

Coinciding with the release of 'I Told You We'd Be Famous', RAHH has also announced a new sustainable clothing line 'Overkill Apparel', launching W/C 20th June, with a mission to find newer and more reliable sources without compromising on quality.

Adding about the new fashion line, she said, "I studied fashion in college and since leaving I've been anticipating a time when I could merge my love for fashion with my music. When thinking about creating merchandise, sustainability and awareness was a really important area for me. After learning about the waste and destruction caused by fast fashion, I've changed the way I buy and I think of how I dress differently, so it only made sense to me to create a fashion brand for my merchandise that would follow suit.

“All items are 100% organic cotton or recycled fabric and have been manufactured with an ethos rooted in providing the highest quality whilst maintaining ethical practices and sustainability. The designs sport poignant, thought-provoking lyrics and song titles from my EP, which have been embroidered onto high end, oversized T-shirts, Sweaters and Hoodies. Each piece is incredibly comfortable, soft and cosy and I've done nothing but wear them since they arrived. RAHH Merch will be available to purchase via my website from June onwards."

She has gained immeasurable live and performance experience from touring with and singing alongside artists such as Liam Gallagher, Emeli Sande, Dave Stewart, Beverley Knight, Nile Rodgers, JP Cooper and James Morrison. Her captivating stage presence hasn't gone unnoticed either, by chart topping producers Joel Corry and MNEK who chose her to sing lead as part of their Head and Heart PR campaign and by Sigala who hand picked her to front his energetic live show.

Hailing from Manchester and growing up in a mixed heritage musical family, RAHH is making music that fuses together her R&B, soulful roots with electronic elements and atmospheric pop. The nuance and lyrical depth of her compositions teamed with her undeniable vocal quality and moreish tone makes her stand out head and shoulders above the other emerging artists of today.
