"A Medio Vivir", one of the greatest hits by the global icon Ricky Martin is reborn in a new version alongside one of the most powerful voices in Mexican music Carín León.
Without losing the essence that made “A Medio Vivir” one of the most emblematic songs in Latin music, this new version delivers a fresh, contemporary twist, thanks to the flawless production of Casta and Andrés Saavedra. Ricky and Carín convey the powerful lyrics written by Venezuelan singer-songwriter Franco De Vita with deep emotion, inspired by the heartbreak and loneliness left behind by the loss of a great love.
The accompanying video, directed by Carlos Pérez, creative director of Elastic People, recreates the atmosphere of an arthouse film. With a visual approach rich in metaphors and intricate concepts, the piece highlights the emotional performances of both artists, evoking beauty and poetry to reflect separation and hope.
This release marks the beginning of a new musical project by the multiple GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® winner, who is also preparing to continue his successful international tour, Ricky Martin Live. The tour will resume with two sold-out shows at Chile’s Claro Arena on October 4 and 5, before moving on to cities across Australia, Europe, and Mexico, as well as one date in California and another in the United Arab Emirates.
