Belgian formation Razen joins forces with Dutch composer and theatre musician Dick van der Harst for a new collaborative album on VIERNULVIER Records. Stained Glass Starling is set for release on April 24 on vinyl and digital platforms. The first single jalak bali egg is now available for streaming on all platforms.

Building on decades of uncompromising acoustic exploration, Razen delves deeper into their practice with five long-form improvisational pieces that unfold slowly in time and space. The duo’s radical core — Brecht Ameel and Kim Delcour — finds in van der Harst a longtime kindred spirit, united by the impact of sound, intonation, and the sheer joy of playing.

Following their recent LP Mirages (2025, Kraak) with French turntablist Guilhem All, the group continues to expand their universe through collaborations with musicians and instruments from diverse traditions.

The physical release includes a 16-page booklet featuring artwork by American visual artist Robert Beatty (Oneohtrix Point Never, Christina Vantzou, The Weeknd, Tame Impala), alongside an interview with the artists.
