Leeds-based rock quartet PULLED APART BY HORSES are pleased to announce that they will release a limited edition 7” vinyl AA side single featuring previously-released A side ‘First World Problems’ and brand new AA side single ‘Rinse & Repeat’. The record will be released on a 600 limited edition press of black and blue vinyl on 15th July 2022, with the artwork hand-screen printed by the band.

‘Rinse & Repeat’ will be available to stream from all good digital service providers on 25th May 2022.

Commenting on the track, vocalist Tom Hudson said: “An ode to all that have found themselves trapped in the darker corners of the music industry. The repetitive whirring of the machine. A spanner in the works of the daily grind. A helping hand to break out of a vicious cycle. The realisation that they need you more than you need them. Inspired by seeing Ziggy Stardust stood in line at the jobcentre. More punk rock than Iggy advertising life insurance.”

The band also announce they have decided to part ways with guitarist James Brown. Rob Lee will take over on guitar duties, Tom Hudson and Tommy Davidson continue with vocals and drums, and Owen Griffiths (of seminal Leeds band Blacklisters) will return to guest on bass.

After a period of rest, reflection and transformation, in 2021 PABH signed to their new home at Alcopop! Records for the release of their long-awaited forthcoming fifth studio album in 2022, with further details of the record to be revealed over the coming months.

The album’s lead single ‘First World Problems’ was released late last year, with the track picking up radio support from Huw Stephens at BBC 6music and John Kennedy at Radio X and a swathe of support from NME, DORK, UPSET, GIGWISE, DSCVRD and many more.

Serving as the sonic blueprint for the next PABH chapter, ‘First World Problems’ was inspired by late ‘70s garage rock, post-punk, and heavy weight rockers like Iggy And The Stooges, The Rolling Stones, Bowie and The Cramps.

With the trials and tribulations of their critically acclaimed fourth album The Haze behind them, Pulled Apart By Horses have emphatically returned, and are approaching 2021 with fresh perspectives, open minds, and a flurry of creativity—writing new songs, defining their sound, and wrestling back control of their own artistic process.

PABH are about to embark on a run of Dutch headline dates, and will also be appearing at this year’s 2000 Trees Festival, headlining the Wednesday opening night of the festival, and TRUCK Festival in Oxfordshire. (see below for full listings).

Further details of the band’s long-awaited fifth album will follow over the coming months.
