The German Thrash-Metal-Maniacs, PRIPJAT, are set to unleash their second Album "CHAIN REACTION" on April 27th, 2018 via NoiseArt Records. The album will be available as CD-Digipak and 2LP on black vinyl in gatefold.
The band states: "This one is personal. To see Kiev, the beautiful place of our (Kirill and Eugen) childhood, being burned, raped and drenched in blood of the innocents was one of the heaviest things we had to take so far. Without being patriots of any flag, we still are shocked by the events that brought the country to the darkest place it ever has been since the fall of the Soviet Union. And we take one only side in this one - the side of the people. All gouvernments involved - the Ukrainian, the Russian, the Western-Union, the USA - you are all to blame! Another empty promisse. Another pointless conflict. Another war brother against brother. Another dead-end constitution. We had to raise our voice, because the silence became deafening."

Three years have passed since PRIPJAT released their debut SONS OF TSCHERNOBYL. The record came out of nothing, delighting thrash-fans and the press all over the world. Songs like ’Born To Hate‘, ’Toxic‘ or ’Acid Rain‘ became must-plays on the many shows the band have played since the release, convincing fan by fan, riff by riff. After over a year of recording PRIPJAT have finished their second Album.
