Pop riser Lemi today releases new single 'Get Him Gone', the latest taste of the Norwegian newcomer's upcoming debut EP, following previously released singles 'Baggage', 'Daggers', and 'Bear'.

Made in collaboration with Noah Johansen aka Whammyboy and producer Robert Gillies, new single 'Get Him Gone' is the sound of a teenager writing the rules of her own survival in real time. “Get him out of my socials / Run him offa my phone / Get him outta my circles / Run him outta my home" hits like a manifesto for cutting dead weight. Around it, bright piano and guitar flourishes and almost-cheerleader handclaps flicker, all decoys for the razor-edge sharpness of her lyrics.

On the release of 'Get Him Gone', Lemi said:

"This song is very special to me. Even though the other tracks may explore deeper themes, it was with Get Him Gone that I found the voice for this project. It was the first song I wrote with Robert Gillies (producer), and both the lyrics and production capture the immediate, raw feelings of anger and helplessness."

Hailing from Bergen - the same vibrant musical breeding ground behind AURORA, Alan Walker, and Kygo - Lemi’s music rips through pop conventions, crystallising the volatility of being 18 and finding her place in the world.

With each new single, Lemi offers a deeper understanding of the emotional terrain her upcoming EP maps out. Together, the songs trace a vivid journey from victim to survivor - a story she feels compelled to share, not just for herself, as she explains:

“I wrote it for me, but even more for everyone else who can relate. It’s not about what I’ve been through, but about something so many people experience. I get really angry, and then I have to write about it.”

Before releasing a single track, Bergen’s Leah Michelle Nygård-Hørberg - now known as Lemi - was signed to Made Management, and Made Music, the new imprint from the team behind AURORA and Sigrid. She’s been writing songs since her early teens, joining a choir at eleven (which she would later go on to conduct), attending a songwriting course at fourteen, and sending demos that brought her into the orbit of producers like Vetle Junker (AURORA, Iris Caltwait) and Robert Gillies (Charlie Puth, Bebe Rexha).

That grounding, paired with a sharp instinct for direct, unsparing lyricism, has already drawn glowing reviews and early support for her first singles. With 'Get Him Gone', Lemi underscores her emergence as a striking new voice in pop and provides another tantalising glimpse of her debut EP, arriving this winter.

Lemi's new single 'Get Him Gone' is out now via Made Music. Lemi plays Vill Vill Vest in Bergen 6-8th November.
