Plastic Bertrand was born in Brussels, on 24th of February 1954. He is a musician, songwriter, producer, editor, television presenter.

In 1974 he creates his own punk band named “Hubble Bubble”. Their first album is released in 1975 with Plastic featured as songwriter, singer and drummer under the name of Roger junior.In 1977 he starts his solo career with his first hit single ‘Ça plane pour moi’. With his musicians, he tours in Canada, Japan, Australia, United Kingdom, Scandinavia and in the United states where his is one of the very few French speaking artist to appear in the Billboard charts.

To this day, he has sold more than 20 million albums throughout the world.

His songs are performed by the greatest artists such as Metallica, Sting, Sonic Youth, The President of The United States, Leyla Kaye (Prince) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and are also chosen as the soundtracks of films like ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ (Leonardo di Caprio / Martin Scorsese), ‘Three Kings’ (George Clooney), ‘Me Myself and I’, ‘Jackass The Movie’...

His international career is acclaimed throughout the world: 15 gold records, 5 platinum records, Billboard Award (USA), Grand prix de l’Académie Française (France), Prix Sabam (Belgium), Rolls Royce Cup (Italy), Grand Prix du Midem (International), Who’s who of the year (International).

His repertoire has reached over 35 million streams on Spotify alone and is still listened to all over the world.

‘The Human Experience’ is Plastic Bertrand’s 10th studio album. It has been recorded in French and in English at The Synsound Studios in Brussels in the world of pioneers of electro (Mini Moog, Super Jupiter, modular Moog ...) together with Alec Mansion and legendary Dan Lacksman (Telex). ‘I’ll Be Back Again’ is the first single from this new album.

On July 10th 2021 Plastic Bertrand will perform at the BB11 Festival in Oakland (California) hosted by John Waters (Hairspray…). Meanwhile, his outstanding showman talent earned him to have become one of the pillars of Stars 80 in France, Belgium, Switzerland (4,5 million tickets sold in 10 years)
