Marcus Fureder, aka Parov Stelar, has delivered his stunning new remix of ‘Zu Asche, Zu Staub’, the popular track taken from German TV series, Babylon Berlin.

A huge critical, success, Babylon Berlin has been celebrated for its high production values and style, with the series based on a flurry of detective novels by Volker Kutscher set in the dying days of the Weimar Republic. The brooding rework sees Parov Stelar maintain the original’s ominous tones, fusing them with cosmic-sounding synth stab and dark, brooding builds.

Head of his own Etage Noir label, Parov Stelar is best known for his ‘electro swing’ sound. He released 9 albums and more than 20 EP's independently. Next to various top chart positions in Europe the track The Sun reached No. 1 in the electronic US iTunes charts in 2018. The song All Night reached Double Platinum for more than 100,000 tracks sold in Italy and Parov Stelar received Gold Awards For All Night in Germany and The Princess, The Art Of Sampling and The Demon Diaries in Austria.

Parov Stelar has already worked with artists like Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, Marvin Gaye, Lana Del Rey, Bryan Ferry, AronChupa, Klingande and many more.

Following the release of his previous single, ‘Mambo Rap’, Parov’s rework is out now.
