On August 30, 2026, The Whitest Boy Alive will return to Belgium for a rare and highly anticipated moment: an exclusive show at Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, presented by Odessa, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their iconic album Dreams.
Released in 2006, Dreams quickly established itself as a landmark record in the European indie scene. Elegant, minimalist pop, deceptively simple grooves, and luminous, sensitive songwriting carried by Erlend Øye’s singular voice. Twenty years later, the album has lost none of its strength or evocative power, it has become a timeless classic.
Formed in Berlin in the early 2000s, The Whitest Boy Alive has always embraced a distinctive approach: music that is deeply live, stripped-down, focused on rhythm, atmosphere, and collective emotion. With only two albums (Dreams and Rules), the band has left a lasting mark far beyond its concise discography.
After their split in 2012, their live appearances became extremely rare. Each concert today is experienced as an event in itself: warm, spontaneous, deeply human. Their unexpected reunion in 2019, followed by the single Serious, only reignited the unwavering devotion of a loyal, intergenerational audience.
In 2026, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dreams, The Whitest Boy Alive will perform a very limited series of anniversary concerts: August 30 at Ancienne Belgique will be the only Belgian date of this tour.
An event concert, bridging legacy and modernity, collective memory and live joy, in one of Europe’s most iconic venues.
A night that is already shaping up to be an unmissable highlight of the 2026 season.
