Horan will make his first solo musical guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live” on December 14. Scarlett Johansson will be the host. On Thursday, December 12, he will pay a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he will be the lead talk guest.

“Nice To Meet Ya,” his new single, has amassed over 100 million combined global streams since its release in October. Naming it one of the “5 Best Songs of the Week,” TIME said, “The tune is grounded by his easygoing hum and a confident, low-key lyrical delivery, but it’s a pop song through and through, with a catchy rock inflection to boot.” “Niall’s Back baby,” Vulture declared. Billboard noted, “‘Nice To Meet Ya’ is Horan's most daring track yet as far as production goes, building a piano-driven melody into a swirling bridge before the electric guitar-driven chorus kicks in.” The official video, directed by The Young Astronauts, racked up more than 13 million views in the first week of release.
