Today, indie-alternative trio Never Loved has shared their new single I Can’t Take It via Rude Records and Equal Vision Records. The track has a perfect end of summer vibe, featuring upbeat vocals and bouncy guitars circled by electronic elements, with lyrics centered around getting over a past love. To accompany the song, the band has also shared a lyric video featuring Alexander Magnan, EVR labelmate and vocalist of Young Culture. The song marks the band’s first new music since the release of their album "Over It" earlier this year. You can check out the lyric video for “I Can’t Take It” here now and stream the track here.

Speaking on the creation of the song, vocalist Cameron Kopp stated: ‘I Can’t Take It’ was the first song I wrote with Nick (All American Rejects) for the LP. At the time, we already had a good amount of songs that had more the traditional Never Loved sound so my goal going into that writing session was to create something different. When I heard the first 3 chords on keys it instantly resonated with the lyrics I had started to write out. ‘I Can’t Take It’ takes you through all of the mixed emotions that come with wanting to get over someone, but wanting to be with them even more".
Never Loved is Cameron Kopp (vocals, guitar), Jay Gayoso (bass), and Shane O’Brien (guitar).
